✨ My Story

Hi, I'm Chlo, the maker behind Oh Sew Chlo.

Oh Sew Chlo was born from my love of sewing, but it truly found its purpose through my family.

After my daughter was diagnosed with congenital CMV, leading to hearing loss and later cochlear implants, life became filled with hospital appointments, therapies and uncertainty. Sewing became my escape, a creative outlet that gave me somewhere to switch off, make something beautiful and find a little bit of joy during a difficult time.

What started with making clothes for my own children soon grew into a small business creating unique handmade children's clothing and adult clothing for families who love individuality, quality and a little bit of fun.

Today, I design and sew everything myself from my studio in Cheshire. From playful children's dresses, leggings and rompers to adult leggings, dresses, jumpers and statement pieces, every garment is made with the same care and attention I'd give something I was making for my own family.

As a mum of two, I know that clothing needs to do more than look good. It needs to be comfortable, practical, hard working and ready for whatever adventures the day brings.

And most importantly, it should let a little bit of personality shine through.

🧵 Handmade in the UK

There is something really special about knowing who made your clothes.

At Oh Sew Chlo, every garment is designed, cut and sewn by me in the UK, using carefully chosen fabrics and plenty of love along the way.

Some pieces are made to order, while others are ready to post, but whichever you choose, your garment has been through my hands rather than a factory production line.

I take real pride in the details, the seams, the hems, the fit, the finishing touches and, of course, choosing prints that make you smile.

Because you're not just buying another piece of clothing.

You're buying something handmade, individual and a little bit different.

🌈 Clothing With Personality

I don't believe children's clothing has to be boring.

Oh Sew Chlo is all about bold prints, playful designs, colourful fabrics and clothing that feels as individual as the person wearing it.

And it's not just for little ones.

My adult collections are made for grown ups who still want their clothes to have personality too, whether that's a pair of statement leggings, a fun dress or a cosy jumper.

From everyday favourites to seasonal collections, I want Oh Sew Chlo to be somewhere you can find clothing that makes you think:

Giving back is close to my heart, which is why I created the Oh Sew Chlo Charity Collection.

A percentage of every sale from this collection is donated to charities supporting deaf children and families across the UK.
